I build every layer.

Full-stack engineer and product designer. The data underneath, the services in the middle, and the interface people touch, designed together and kept running in production.

Led engineering at ScholarComp. Founded Musayyir. A teacher for twelve years. I design the interface, engineer the services and model the data, then keep it all running.

ScholarComp

The home of K-12 academic competitions: results, schools, programs and scholarships. I led its rebuild into a production platform, and designed every page.

Life Is Temporary

Helps Muslim families prepare for a death, and walks them through one when it comes. Guides for five countries, a funeral directory, and an inheritance calculator for all four schools of law.

The inheritance calculator: madhhab tabs, estate inputs, a share bar and each heir's share with its source

  • Two clear doors on the home page: "Someone has died" and "I'm planning ahead."

Inheriting Islam

The home for my Qur'an classes, apps and podcast. An editorial site with a dark mode, built to feel calm and lasting.

  • Three offers under one roof: Qur'an classes, apps and a podcast.
  • Light and dark themes, set in an editorial serif.

How I work

A lean team can ship like a large one when the engineering around the work is sound.

i.

One mind across the stack.

Schema, services and screens are decided together, so the product holds up when real data arrives.

→ ScholarComp: one pattern from database to React

ii.

AI as a multiplier, never unreviewed.

I build with coding agents every day, and read everything they write for correctness and security before it ships.

→ Claude Code in daily use since 2025

iii.

Design is part of engineering.

Design systems, not one-off screens. Accessible, responsive, and right to left when the audience needs it.

→ every page of ScholarComp, designed
